Passive PoE is not standardized, which creates some issues.
- Wiring: By default Pockethernet tests for voltages according to 802.1at/af Mode A and B. Additionally, it measures if there's voltage on any of the wire pairs straight.
- Voltage: Currently, it will only detect voltages above 30V, but that is a software option. If the passive PoE is below that (e.g. 24V) then we could implement this, but would need to do some testing first. (we’re working on this)
